This was a special Christmas. Grandma Carpenter spent the night on Christmas Eve and was with us in the morning for the kids to see what Santa brought them! My mom and dad (Papa and Tutu) came over in the morning and also got to see the kids unwrap gifts. We had breakfast together...I made a crock pot egg dish and cinnamon rolls. Then, we played with toys all morning and Aunt Kathy joined us for lunch. We had lasagna and it was yummy! What a great day! We sure did miss seeing Grandpa Carpenter. The flu is so bad this year that no one could visit the Nursing Home because they want to keep the germs away! We were all sick over the holiday break too. Not fun at all!
