Vacation Bible School

Brooke was so excited when Aunt Pam invited us to her church,

Trinity Lutheran Churchi n Mt. Clemens for VBS!

Live animals came! 

She was in tribe Benjamin

It was a great week.

It was fun to see Marisa there!

Marisa and Brooke in the Lion's Den...they learned about Daniel throughout the week.

He wasn't too sure about this at first.  He likes it, but it's not his favorite like it was for Brooke.  Big sister to this day still jumps everywhere!!

Creative mind....

I walked in the room to her playing "dollhouse", she was using her shoes to be the houses for her doll people!  Too cute and too creative I tell ya! 

She sure loves her brother! I'm sure one day she will make him play dollhouse with her!!!!

I got her to try something new for a healthy snack, and she LOVES it! 

Sterling Heights Nature Center

In the summer I always try to hit a few Nature Centers, there are so many neat animals to see. 

She especially LOVES the puppets at this nature center. 

The frogs were cool and also the salamanders!

Then, we like to go over the bridge to the park.

Brings back a lot of memories for me.  My brothers and I would ride our bikes to this park all the time in the summer.  Growing up in Sterling Height was awesome!!  A great little city to live in. 

I love sharing childhood memories with my kids.  Brooke loves playing here and I get to tell her stories every time we play at the park. I always start out by saying---- "When I was a little girl..."
